Layout
The Crescent Palms is a kitschy roadside motel that hasn’t been redesigned since its heyday in the 1960s. It’s two stories; rooms on the second floor open onto a balcony. The rooms are papered in tropical patterns primarily featuring palm trees.1
History
Treacherous Trysts
The Crescent Palms was a regular meet-up spot for Brooke Maddox and Seth Branson over the course of their illicit student/teacher affair in the fall of 2015. On the evening of October 19th, Brooke arranged to meet with Seth at the motel, and laid up waiting for him, all dolled out in a Roaring 20s-inspired flapper get up (they had been reading The Great Gatsby in class), only for Seth not to show.
Miffed, Brooke took off, in so doing running into another tenant: Piper Shaw. Brooke was exasperated by the peppy young woman and hastily begged off after directing her to the ice machine.2
