Apocryphal Characters
The following characters were once canon to one or more of the SRU’s precursor narratives but, for various reasons, were not formally adapted to the SRU. In some cases, elements of these characters have been transferred to others, who play a roughly equivalent role in the narrative.
Characters have been organized according to which forum they first debuted in.
Season 1 AU
Adam Daniels
Adam Daniels was created by Celebrity01, the moderator of the 2015 Season 1 AU. Celebrity’s only OC, he was the third original character created for the forum, and was intended to be cannon fodder for the killer, dying at some point in the first half of the game.
Like several other characters, Adam’s appearances were confined to the first of the game’s three “episodes”. A popular jock, he served primarily as a “talk-to” for Jake Fitzgerald, and a mediator in Jake’s feud with Tyler O’Neil.
When the Season 1 AU was adapted into the first volume of The Story so Far in 2019, Adam’s role in the in-crowd was given to Zach Henderson, an original character introduced for the May 2016 Season 2 AU, who was still part of the ensemble for The Final Retreat. Like Adam, Zach was a jock who had a close friendship with Jake: a friendship that was centrally important to his arc in Volume II of The Story.
Adam’s faceclaim, Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey, would eventually appear in the SRU, as acerbic Mexican transplant Danilo in Big Trouble in Little Lakewood: 1917, and as gay football player Felix Delgado in Lakewood: Year One.

Personality: He can be a pretty abrasive person at times, whether he is actually in a bad mood or not. In a way, it makes him come off obnoxious most of the time, though he is able to maintain a few steady relationships at a single time. He also thinks highly of himself- it shows on and off the field.

Likes: Girls, Basketball, Music

Favorite Movie: Like Mike if he had the choice, but in this context, he’ll say Halloween
Bio: Throughout most of his school career, Adam took most of his liking to sports where he excelled at the most. This led him to getting numerous scouts attention. He had problems in class, but with some tutoring, he feels confident that everything will go perfect for him.
Other: He’s a basketball pro at school and so has developed a slight reputation possibly

Cody Taylor
Cody Taylor was created by ZacTy, who also portrayed Brooke Maddox and Eliza Taylor, who was Cody’s older sister. The siblings were created jointly, Cody being the fourth OC submitted to the forum.
Despite being a high schooler and ostensibly more amenable to interactions with the teen cast, it was Cody’s sister, intrepid reporter Eliza, who got more mileage. Given ZacTy’s erratic posting scheduling, however, even Liz only appeared in two scenes in the game’s first “episode”. Cody himself only appeared in a single post. He never interacts with anyone and is never mentioned by another character, vanishing as quickly as he appears.
Anything that can be known about him must be gleaned from his character bio: he was an ex-stoner and a boy band member (the language of the bio leaves it ambiguous whether or not he’s still in a band).
Per an OOC thread not archived on this site, Cody was an import from another RP ZacTy had been in, with the acronym “MU”. What this stands for is a mystery.

Unrealized Concepts
Unnamed Male Journalist
Prior to the game’s launch, Celebrity01 toyed with the idea of using another Teen Wolf leading man as an OC, the extremely popular Dylan O’Brien. He mentioned creating a bespectacled journalist with DOB as the faceclaim. ZacTy’s creation of Eliza Taylor put paid to the notion, however. While many Teen Wolf stars have since featured in the SRU in some form or another, Dylan O’Brien remains absent from the ensemble.
Unnamed Deputy
The day the game began, September 6th, 2015, Celebrity rued not creating a deputy but decided he would debut such a character in the forum’s second “season”, and already had a faceclaim in mind. Needless to say, this never happened. A deputy would be introduced in the May 2016 Season 2 AU (not moderated by Celebrity01): Richard Steele, created by TellatrixForever.
