Ryan Keller is a supporting character in the Scream roleplay universe, appearing in Volumes II and III of The Story so Far, The Final Retreat, Lakewood: Year One, and two entries of the Lakewood Legendarium.

Ryan was created late in the Spring 2016 Season 2 AU, as the only character of user LegendaryFanatic. Ryan appeared briefly in the last scene of the AU before the forum went defunct. He returned a few months later for the October 2016 Season 3 AU, where he had a more substantial role.

Legend and Ryan returned for the 2019 relaunch that became The Final Retreat, but Legend’s activity was spotty in the game’s first months, with Ryan averaging a single scene each chapter until ThePlotMurderer took over the role at the start of The Final Retreat’s fifth chapter in late summer. Simultaneously, Ryan’s backstory and connection to the canvas had been more fleshed out in the then-ongoing Volume II of The Story so Far, which provided much of the basis for Ryan’s characterization from that point on.
