Bridget Atwood is a supporting character in the Scream roleplay universe, appearing in every volume of The Story so Far, The Final Retreat, and Lakewood: Year One.

Bridget debuted in the 2016 Season 2 AU as one of two original characters created by forum moderator TheDerpHowlsatMidnight. Derp brought her back a few months later for the Season 3 AU, which retained most of Bridget’s key relationships from the spring game.

While it has never been confirmed, it is likely that Derp intended Bridget to be at least one of the killers in his vision of the story, but his abrupt departure meant the storyline was never realized in either of his attempts.

Derp revived Bridget for a third time in his short-lived April 2019 attempt to relaunch the game. After his almost immediate disappearance, and the subsequent creation of The Final Retreat, Derp’s OCs were recast, with Snafu Guru taking on the role of Bridget for a single scene, which saw her killed off at the end of the prologue.

Bridget’s role was retroactively expanded in The Story so Far, where she appears in all three volumes, primarily in the second and third. Bridget is also part of the Year One ensemble.
