The Murray House was the residence of the Murray family at the time of the 2015 Lakewood Slashings.
After Rachel Murray’s murder during the slashings, and the subsequent dissolution of Pamela and Jason Murray’s marriage, Pam retained the deed to the property and was still living there as of November 2016, just over a year from Rachel’s death.

Layout
The Murray household is a two-story residence in in Lakewood’s prosperous southwestern region. It has a chunk of property around it, including a swimming pool in the backyard. A balcony runs along the back end of the house, overlooking the pool.
Rachel’s room overlooks the pool. It has French doors, providing access to the balcony. The ceiling has an intricate old-world pattern in white plaster, radiating from a mounted ceiling fan. On Rachel’s nightstand, there is a tin box decorated with pink containing razorblades used for self-harming.1
History
The Kissing Video
Rachel was at home on the evening of October 18th, 2015, when the infamous kissing video, depicting her making out with her then-secret girlfriend Audrey Jensen was uploaded to YouTube and went viral. Rachel was confined to her room while her parents, Pamela and Jason, argued with each other about the resulting scandal and what they had missed in rearing their daughter.2
