After two local teenagers are brutally murdered, the town of Lakewood is stirred up, barely having recovered from a killing spree that had taken place twenty years prior. This merely sparks the interest yet also concern not only of a group of teenagers but also other residents of the town as the fear of a new killer has arrived with the intent of repeating the past.

Stacy Winters, a high school junior sporting the girl next door look, pressed a cloth against her finger nail, sighing as she took the fingernail polish off of her fingers. After doing this lastly on her pinky, she balled up the cloth and threw it into the trash, proceeding through the hallway. As she did this, the girl went through her phone, stopping at a contact with the picture of a decently looking guy. Smiling, she went to call him.
“Hello?”
“Brock, where are you? I thought you said you’d be here by now…”
“I’m on my way, just driving near the lane.”
“Good, I hope you’re ready for some Sleepless in Seattle because it was the first movie I grabbed.”
“Ugh, really?”
“Is that disappointment I detect?” Stacy scrunched her face.
“Yeah it is.”
“Well, if thats the case, want two things to be disappointed about tonight?”
Brock laughed on the other end. “No, of course not!”
“I’m kidding, Brock, geez. I wont eat all the popcorn. Just hurry up okay?”
“Will do, see you there. Love ya.”
“Love you too.” Stacy hung up and was now in the kitchen. She glanced around a bit before walking to the pantry and pulling out a packet of popcorn. Afterwards, she went to place it into the microwave, putting it on three minutes. Five seconds after she started the timer, her phone started to ring. Curiously, she picked it up and saw it was from an unknown caller. Sighing, Stacy answered.
“Hello?”
“Hey there, how’s it going?” The voice seemed rather odd to her. Clearly male, but with a hint of carelessness to it.
“Who is this?” She briefly eyed the popcorn in the microwave while waiting for an answer.
“Just a friend.”
Stacy smirked. “Right, well Just A Friend, I think you may have the wrong number, sorry.” With that, she hung up and walked into the living room, cutting her television on. After going to the DVD player, she opened the case and placed the DVD in. Right before she was going to close it, her phone rung again. Seeing it was an unknown caller, she groaned and answered.
“Hello?”
“Starting the movie without me?”
Stacy suddenly smiled at the realization of who it was and giggled. “Wow, nice one Brock. Good job scaring me- but we’re still watching the movie.”
“Not a fan of Sleepless in Seattle.”
The girl made a face. “We watched that movie like twenty times, how can’t you like it?”
“Because I’m not Brock.”
A thud almost formed in Stacy’s chest and she stared down for a moment. At this point, something didn’t seem right and the sound of tire rubbing against ashphalt from outside met her ears. “I-I think I have to go my boyfriend’s here.” She hung up and paced towards the door. When she opened it, she could see an Red 2004 Chevy. A sigh of relief would have formed on her face had the door been closed and not gaped open. She peered to the side, seeing that the driver’s side, and the whole front, was empty for that matter.
“Brock?”
She glanced around, biting her lip. Her head moved sideways down the lane where trees and bushes consumed space. The air rolled against her skin as she went to close the door. Following this the phone ringed again. Seeing Brock’s name pop up she answered.
“Brock where are-“
“You’re a fan of movies, arentcha, Stacy?”
Stacy began to turn, feeling suspicious. “Who the hell is this? Where is Brock?”
“Let’s play a little trivia game. You get it right, you got to see your boyfriend. You get it wrong and it’s game over.”
Stacy’s bottom lip began to quiver as she could tell this was escalating. “I’m calling the cops,” she blurted out, going for the front door.
“Call the cops and they’ll be here right in time to find you and Brock choking on your insides.”
The teenager stopped in her tracks, gasping a bit. She rushed inside and closed the door. “I don’t know who this is but-“A murmur in the background sounded, and she was quickly able to detect who it was. “Oh my god, Brock.”
“Time is of the essence, Stacy! First question- what was the location of the movie Dawn of the Dead?”
The dark haired teenager tried to keep her composure, quickly rationalizing. “Mall! It was in a mall!”
“Correct!”
“Where’s my boyfriend?” She demanded, in a shaking voice.
“That was the warmup- time for the real question! What was the name of the movie with teenager who fell for a vampire that happened to be apart of coven after moving to-“
“Twilight! Twilight you motherfucker!” Stacy could not tell what was happening anymore- but all she knew was that she was correct.
“That’s the wrong answer! The correct answer was the nineteen-eighty-seven classic Lost Boys!”
What? No, that’s not fair- you worded it-“
“Those are the rules! Unfortunately, you lose….”
The call ended, leaving a disturbed Stacy leaning against the door. She could feel tears coming down in an unexpected manner. as she slid down to the floor. “Oh god…” Her mind was telling her to do something- anything. So she rose from her spot and starts for the stairs when suddenly a large object comes crashing through the window onto her! She screamed, falling onto the floor with glass covering her.
As she regained her composure, she looked to see partially sprawled on top of her was the gutted body of Brock- his eyes were rolled back. She let out a scream before a figure standing outside the window appeared- none other than in an a dark cape and horrid mask.
Stacy once again screamed, crawling away from the body and running for the stairs beside her. She kept going until getting to the master bedroom where she closed the door and locked it. Not long after, banging at the door could be heard causing her to grow hysterical. Trying to think, she dialed 911 and waited for the operator.
“Hello? You have to help me there’s someone trying to kill me! Please! 322 Parkway Avenue! Oh god!” Suddenly a knife pierced through the door, causing her to drop the phone. She went to pick it up and ran for the window. Having to unlatch it took some time, but she got it through- only to be welcomed with the screen. “Shit, shit shit!”
She kicked at it as the killer’s arm shot through the door. As the hand tried searching for the handle, Stacy was able to get the screen off and started climbing through! As she is halfway out, the killer manages to open the door and charges directly at her. Stacy picks up the pace, forcing both her legs out and grabbing onto the panel for support. Unfortunately, she wasn’t kick enough when suddenly a hand with a knife shoots out, impaling her directly in the side. Her eyes grew wide and her mouth was left open at the stinging pain. The killer twisted the knife before pulling it out.
Stacy’s fingers slowly slipped and soon she fell back. Her body landed partially on top of the Chevy with the sound of snapping and cracking. Soon, her body was in a heap in a rather unusual position in the back. From the window, the killer stared down and tilted their head and not long after, they were gone.
There was a party happening that could not be missed.

Clark Hudson, the Sheriff of Lakewood, exited his cruiser and made his way onto the crime scene. He pushed past the tape and asked the nearest officer, “What do we have?”
The officer, a young man not even five years on the force, looked pale and sick to his stomach. He replied, “Sheriff, it’s a bad one.”
Clark didn’t reply as he walked past him to where the body was. He had been a cop for nearly twenty years, Sheriff for the last ten. He’d seen some messed up things before. But the sight before him forced Clark to take a deep breath. He whispered to himself, “Good Lord.”
Meanwhile, at the Maddox Residence
“Thanks for inviting me, Noah,” was what Amanda Steele said as she shook his hand at the door. The young mechanic had just gotten off work, and had enough time to change before coming to the party.

Emma was sitting on one of the pool chairs at Brooke’s, the party in full swing and everything seemingly normal right now. She tilted her head to the side as she glanced at her boyfriend Will standing there talking with Jake and the other guys. She swirled the drink around in her hand, taking a sip and sighing slightly.
If there was one thing Brooke knew how to do, that was throw a party. Even if there was school soon, they didn’t seem to care. She crossed her ankles together as she laid back in the pool chair, closing her eyes as she relished in the sound of the music and her friends talking in the background.
Riley was sitting on the edge of the pool, her feet dangling in the water as she drank some of her drink. She listened to the chatter of all her friends, and the music blaring around the house. She was enjoying staying to herself and kicking her feet back and forth within the water of the pool.
Meanwhile On The Road…
Deanna kept her eyes closed as she listened to her brother talking in the background, they were moving back to Lakewood. She missed her parents that was weighing heavily on her and had caused her to shut down quite a bit.
“Kieran…” She mumbled as she opened her eyes to glance over at her big brother, she was nervous about a new school and about living with Kieran’s father Clark. She adjusted the hood of her jacket over her head, hiding her face some.
Another Road Trip…
Gemma O’Neill was driving back to Lakewood, and she wasn’t too pleased with it at the moment in time. Right now she would prefer staying where she had been, but the pull of Lakewood was too much to resist right now. Slipknot was playing on the radio as she drove, and she was enjoying the ride in the darkness at the moment.

Maggie was leaning over Brock’s body, glancing over it. There was blood everywhere, almost making it hard to tell what it was that killed. Likewise, a quick turn of the body would just confirm he was stabbed a lot in the front with a slit throat.
She sighed, going to stand. The woman peered through the door to see Clark and decided to walk over to him.
“Clark…hey,” she greeted in a subtle tone. Truth be told, she wish they were not seeing each other on these circumstances. Especially considering she had not seen something like this for a while.
Audrey was out near the front of the house, staring at it. She honestly felt like stabbing herself to death would be a better option than going, but nothing better to do could be done. Besides, Noah constantly kept coaxing her to the point where it almost seemed like not going would be the worst option.
“This is going to be fun…”
With that she unfolded her arms, walking towards the front door.
Jake was walking around back, laughing with some of the other guys. He had a red solo cup in his hands with a fist bump in the other.
“Have no fear, The Jake is here to party and party hard,” he shouted, getting a positive reaction from everyone else. He enjoyed the attention- though he also knew he was going to have to see Brooke sometime tonight.
“Dude, how many of those things have you had?” Adam said this, appearing at his side with an evidently drunk girl.
“Not enough,” he remarked, taking a sip. Adam smirked as he downed the one in his hand.
“Always love the drinks at Brooke’s party. Definitely makes a guy happy.”
Jake briefly gave him a look.
“I’m joking man, geez.” Adam arched his shoulder blades a bit before shrugging.

“What happened?” asked Clark as his old girlfriend walked over to him. The sights at the scene made him want to throw up.
He wished that, of all nights, that this hadn’t happened the night his son was coming home.

“I’ll find her. So how are you doing?” Amanda asked, before something caught her eye. That something was Nina Patterson. She frowned and whispered to Noah, “Check it.”

“We won’t have that much until we can take a look at both bodies,” Maggie admitted with a sigh, shaking her head. “The Winters’ daughter was home alone. It seems like she called her boyfriend, Brock Carmichael, to come over. They don’t know all of the details, but whatever happened here…whoever did this made it through a great deal that both of them were going to get killed.”
She lowered her head a bit. “Her parents need to be called- they’re out of town on a vacation.”
Nina was standing beside Tyler, smiling as he was conversing with a few other guys from school. Truth be told, she felt rather excited. The two hadn’t had a fight in a week, which for their relationship was amazing. Just good enough to only visit the bar one time this week.
“God, typical Jake not being able to handle his alcohol,” she muttered, noticing him a little ways from them.

Maggie looked over at him and grimaced a bit. “I’ll try and have this figured out as soon as I can….this is just…” For some reason she found it hard to speak with memories flooding to her head. “I don’t understand who would do this. The Winters were good people.”
Tyler happen to noticed Amanda staring at their direction. He scoffed lightly and briefly looked at Nina. “I’m gonna be right back.”
“Yeah, sure,” she said, not giving him too much attention as she went on to talk to the other people around them.
Tyler approached Amanda and Noah, smirking a bit. “Well well well, what do we have here. The Nerd and the Nerd on Wheels.”

Noah was about to respond to Amanda when Tyler walked up, “I’d be more careful what I say, it’d be a shame if something happened to your car and you are on her bad side. Her brother would get to decide if the brakes work fine, which could be a problem if they failed you when you needed them most.” He said trying to sound tough but it wasn’t hard to notice the shakiness in his voice.

“Right, like he would try anything on me. He wouldn’t last one second near my car,” Tyler said with a daring expression. “Tell me what do you plan on doing about it, Foster?” He stood closer to him before starting to chuckle a bit.
“I was wondering why you were staring at Nina,” he said to Amanda, “what, are you wishing you had legs like hers or something?” He suddenly paused, pressing a finger against his lips. “Oh wait….”

Emma looked over at Tyler and the others, shaking her head as she sipped her drink. She stood up and set the red solo cup down, walking over towards the main doors to the house. She felt like going home was the better option, the others seemed to be getting drunk and it didn’t seem like all that much fun. She ran a hand through her hair as she walked inside Brooke’s house to find her jacket.
Riley pulled her feet from the pool, shaking them off as she stood up and went to get another drink. She passed by Tyler and the group, shaking her head some as she went to gather more alcohol to enjoy the rather dull aspects of the crowd that was arriving.

Meanwhile
Kieran shut off the engine as they finally pulled up to Clark’s house. It had been a long drive for sure. And like he predicted, Clark wasn’t home. He said to Deanna, “It’s ok, I got a key. He’s probably out on the job.”
Silence came between the three when the words left Tyler’s mouth. Amanda took a deep breath, and said, “No, I was just wondering if you knew that Jake banged Nina a few weeks ago.”

Deanna looked at the house, sighing some as she grabbed her backpack and gave a small nod of her head. “I miss them…” She said as she got out of the truck, adjusting her backpack on her shoulder as she looked up at the house. She was glad that Kieran was with her though, especially since he was pretty much the only family she had left now. Granted Clark had chosen to accept her into his home since she was Kieran’s sister, but it wasn’t the same for her.
“Am I getting my own room?” She asked her older brother, still looking at the house.

Audrey passed through a few rooms. A lot of people seemed to be enjoying Brooke’s furniture a lot more than others. It only made her roll her eyes at this and continue on. Halfway through she could see a familiar face passing through the house. Thinking quickly, she took a nose dive into another room.
Now wasn’t the time to talk to Emma.
Tyler bellowed a little. “What the hell is this?” He made a hand gesture towards the two. “You want to know how I don’t believe you- because you wouldn’t know shit about it. Even if it were…true.” Halfway through Tyler briefly glanced between Nina and Jake who were no way near and each other. It didn’t seem like anything had happened between them…

“What room is mine?” Deanna asked, sighing some as she tried to keep herself on a more level headed position. She adjusted her backpack, keeping one strap over her shoulder as she looked through the house, so this was Kieran’s dads house, the one where her mother lived at one point.
At The Party..
Emma walked into Brooke’s room, grabbing her jacket and heading back outside so that she could head home. She pulled her phone out and scrolled through her contact list, sending a message to Will letting him know that she was headed home.
Hey Will, I went home for the night. I’ll see you tomorrow.
With that she put her phone into her pocket and got into her car to head home.

Noah couldn’t help but laugh at the denial on Tyler’s face, “Think about it, popular girl with lots of money. She also likes to have a few too many drinks here and there, I’d be surprised if she hasn’t been in bed with the entire football team yet.” He said before moving slightly behind Amanda if Tyler got angry, he wouldn’t hit a girl right? Or more importanly punch through one to get to him.

Deanna stood at the door, sighing once more before she placed her hand on the knob and opened it. She stepped inside and flipped on the light, taking in a breath as she saw the decor of the room. Pictures of her mother, paintings and everything that her mother had loved, everything that she loved.

As Deanna stared at her new room, Kieran pulled his phone out and called Clark. A few rings later, he got, “Hello?”
“Dad, it’s me. We’re here.”
Silence came from the other end. For a minute, Kieran thought that Clark was in shock. But finally he replied, “Kieran, I’m sorry I can’t be there right now, we’ve got a bad case right now. I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Ok.”
Not another word was said as Kieran hung up.

Deanna looked over her shoulder at her brother, “I’m gonna get some sleep…see you in the morning big brother.” She said softly, walking into the room and setting her backpack down. She started pulling out her clothes and setting them into the drawers, setting out her pajamas for the night and waiting for Kieran to leave so that she could get changed.

Kieran let his little sister to go find his room. When he did, he set his bag down, took his shoes, and collapsed onto the bed. He was asleep in only a few minutes.

Tyler took a step closer to the two, this time with a slightly irritated expression playing across his face. He was not sure why he felt so angry- it was a mix between feeling mad that they would say something like that about his girlfriend between being unsure if it was true or not. “You know what I think is gonna be funny? If I pushed the two of you in the pool.”
He took another step closer and someone from afar happened to notice and decided to walk over.
Nina suddenly appeared with an ever so light smile across her face. “Is there a problem here?”

As Emma turned the headlights on to her car, it revealed a very concerned looking Brooke. Her arms were crossed and her weight was shifted to one leg, causing the other to stick out in a sassy manner. She shook her head before walking around to the drivers side of Emma’s car and motioned for her to roll down the window. “Nu huh. You aren’t going anywhere.”
She pulled open her friends door and leaned against it, flipping part of her blonde hair over her shoulder. “This is my party and I want all of my friends here. Especially my best friends.” She crossed her arms again and gave Emma a look. “Besides, it wouldn’t be the same without you here.”
Brooke knew that was a lie. The party would be just fine without Emma there, and really, no one would even notice that she’s gone. But Brooke was a good friend, despite what her risque reputation held of her. She was an It-Girl, Popular, Pretty, Smart…. but she had a heart that very few got to see. “Stay with me…. please?” She said, making a pouty face. “I’ll stand out here as long as I have to… which means my guests will miss me….” She said trailing off.

Emma sighed softly, shutting off her car and getting out. “Fine, I’ll stay.” She said, smiling at her friend as she leaned against the side of her car now. She had figured this would happen, and that either Brooke or Will would come after her. Though to be honest, she knew that it would have been Brooke. Something just seemed off about Will lately, and she sighed lightly as she put her keys into her purse lightlly and looked at her friend.
“So should we get back inside now?” She asked, tilting her head as she smiled a bit more at her best friend. She knew that she could have just left, but Brooke would have most likely done something else for the most part. She was at least glad that one of her friends had come out to stop her from leaving the party, even if it was only just out of respect of being friends.

Noah stood quietly next to Amanda but was slightly behind her still, “I’m too sober for this.” He mumbled as he watched the fireworks that were about to happen. He hoped it didn’t end with physical contact, he was pretty sure the fact that none of them seemed to be drunk enough for it to escalate that far.

Amanda ignored Noah as she asked Nina, “Wanna tell me why your boy-toy slashed Noah’s tires the other day?”
Three days ago, Noah had gotten out of class to find all four of his vehicle’s tires slashed. The auto-shop had replaced them, no problem, but it had cost Noah $200.
Nobody had figured out exactly who had done it, but Amanda, Noah and Audrey all had a pretty good idea of who it was.

“You say that as if you actually can drive,” Nina remarked, “and I’m sure he had a valid reason to do it even if he did.”
“That’s not why you’re here.” Tyler glared at the others before turning to Nina. “These two losers are trying to say you’ve been hooking up with Jake.”
Nina gave him a look, then Amanda and Noah a look, and finished it off with a roll of her eyes. “Tyler, I came over here to hear out an actual problem not make believe fantasies low lifes like these probably have.”
Tyler looked at her, eyeing her posture. She didn’t seem to physically grow tense however her eyes did shift a bit; he could not tell if that was just from annoyance or from her attitude.
“You don’t seriously believe them do you?” She tilted her head at this, pressing her lips together with narrowed eyebrows. Tyler appeared to have a transfixed expression. Five seconds was too late.
“Seriously? Alright, fine, then let’s settle this the old fashion way.” She turned into the direction of a particular person before screaming Jake’s name. It took two tries and an agitated Tyler to call out once to finally get his attention.
“This oughtta be good,” he said, downing the rest of his drink and passing the empty cup along to Adam, who in returned passed it off to his lady friend.
“Keep it, it’s a good look for you,” he remarked before he began following his friend over.
Audrey made it to the back, glancing around. For some reason, she felt as if all eyes were on her. Of course, she even knew it wasn’t true but in her mind everyone was still viewing her as “that girl.” She scowled a bit before going over to grab a drink. Accidents happen all the time, she thought, and while this did not feel one, the reactions she was getting almost made her feel as if it was.
She checked her watch before sitting in one of the chairs looking around a bit. “Here’s to hoping someone else catches the spotlight,” she said before taking a sip of soda.

“Shut up, nerd,” Jake warned, pointed a finger over at Noah with a slight slur of his words.

Brooke smiled as she began to mix her friend a drink. “Strong it is!” She got everything she needed and poured just the right amount of each before stirring it up real good and slid it across the table to Emma. “There you go.” She said with a smile, clearly proud of her own work. “Maybe a bartender career is in my future?” She said jokingly.
Before she could watch her friend try her drink, she heard the commotion going on outside and quickly turned to look out the window. “What the hell?” She asked, seeing someone being tackled into the pool. She groaned and rolled her eyes before making her way out the back door and towards the pool. “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?!” She screamed.
She stormed over to the side of the pool near Nina. “STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP!” She yelled, throwing her hands onto her hips. “Get out! Get out of my pool!”
She looked around, clearly annoyed, at the scene occurring. She tried her best to hide the embarrassment of the situation. Brooke noticed Nina was close to the action and couldn’t help but suspect that she had a part in it. She knew Nina was the cause of most scandals around the school and town. Despite it all though, she was her friend…. even if she questioned why sometimes. She figured, like most of her inner circle, that it was safer to be on her good side than against her.

Jake and Tyler continued to go at it until Brooke came to the scene. It was only then that Jake completely separated himself from Tyler and glanced up at her. It was evident at least one spot on his face would be temporarily bruising by the time tomorrow came. His eyes wandered around a bit before he moved over towards the edge.
“Brooke, you’re looking lovely as always,” he said, “we were just….adding excitement to the party. Needed more Jake.” He gave a slightly hysterical laugh.
“Asshole,” Tyler muttered under his breath. He looked around at the other people with disgust before eventually reeling them back over to Noah and Amanda. “You two….”
“Tyler!” Nina was now standing near the edge with a look- as if to let him know it was best for his own good to shut up. She let out a sigh, briefly facing Brooke. “Please do something about those two- it’s really not a good look when your friends decide to badmouth your other ones.”
It wasn’t meant to come off as a warning to the party host, but at the moment, Nina barely showed any signs of caring considering how tense she was feeling.
Audrey stood by watching all of this. “Wouldn’t be a party without Little Miss Sunshine being in the spotlight,” she mumbled to Noah and Amanda.
Nina turned into their direction and for a moment, the two of them locked eyes until Nina decided not to say anything- surprising quite a few people.

Tyler shrugged. “Maybe I don’t, ” he dryly said taking a few steps to her. He hadn’t seen her for more than a minute qnd she already was going in on his life without her. “I was buay.”
He lightly rubbed his arm. He felt like he should have anticipated Jake being as strong as he was when he hit him. Alas his arm was likely going to be bruised by the time tomorrow came around.

Gemma narrowed her eyes, noticing the spot he was rubbing on his arm. “Better watch your mouth, bro.” She said, stepping closer to him and raising her arm to hit the spot he had been rubbing earlier. She knew he was being a smartass, and she hated when he thought he could get away with it.

Next Morning 7:45 AM
Maggie was cooking breakfast in the kitchen with a very timid expression. There was a lot of thoughts going through her mind- most of which seemed quite improbable. It was just that there was something about this murder that was giving her a bad feeling about the past. She tucked her hair behind her ears as she placed the eggs on a plate next to the bacon. Then, the woman moved to the sink where she started to wash the pan out.
“Emma, breakfast is ready if you want some,” she shouted. She felt that it was right she heard it from her first versus people at school.
Jake was already parked in his car, thinking about last night. He wondered just how bad of an impression he left with a few people.
He suddenly scoffed, wondering why he was even thinking this way about Brooke and her parties- it should have been something unimportant and yet here he was thinking this. As far as last night was concerned, he only prayed it was going to end there
“Alright, time to hit up some losers,” he said aloud before exiting his truck.
As he walked out, Audrey was standing outside her car, waiting for a familiar face to show up before going inside. When Jake was passing her and gave her a look, she scoffed.
“Don’t you have someone you should be kissing?”
“Don’t you have someone you should be fighting,” she retorted with a glare. He only shook his head and kept it moving. Meanwhile, Audrey had her attention on a few policemen roaming around. It didnt take long to figure out something had happened- something she was surprised not to get updated on.
She went straight to googling Lakewood High School and soon her eyes widened. “Oh…….”
Tyler and Nina were in the parking lot inside his car. She had on a light blue blouse with white pants on- and was also putting lip gloss on.
“So are we going to talk about it or pretend nothing happened as usual,” Tyler asked.
Nina gave a laugh of disbelief. “There’s nothing to pretend about. Clearly those losers tried to get a rile out of you- plus, you seriously think if Jake and I hooked up he’d say that shit about me?”
“It wouldn’t be the first time he did it to a girl.”
Nina stopped with the lip gloss and stared at him. Sighing, she placed it up and put her hand over his. “Tyler, I promise- there is nothing between Jake and I.”
He looked back at her before eventually letting out an exhale. “Yeah yeah.”
To her, it was a clear sign that for now, he was believing her which was good neough. “Now that that’s out of the way, be a doll and carry my bag for me. Thanks.” She kissed his cheek and exited the car. Tyler watched her leave before soon doing the same thing. The two saw the many people outside swarming about- but they decided not to pay any of them any mind
Seth had made it to the school a little earlier than usual. He never had a preference, but for him, showing up right on time was always preferred. However, with the way things were outside, something told him it was better to steer clear of any form the spotlight might give him.
He opened up his notebook, staring through it before grabbing a piece of chalk, writing across the board.
As he did this, he was only praying that he’d get the chance to see his favorite student.

Noah pulled up to the school and parked in the parking lot. He grabbed his backpack out of the backseat and began walking towards the school. He paid no attention to the officers around the outside. Noah being as into serial killers had already read about what had happened while he had been having his morning cereal, he was more focused on making it through the day without any bruises or fractures.

Emma was just finished getting ready, and came downstairs with her purse over her shoulder when she heard her mom. She rounded the corner into the kitchen, smiling as she sat down at the table. “Morning mom, sorry I didn’t get in until this morning.” She said, pulling out her phone and checking for messages of any kind. She set her phone down and started in on her food, looking over at her mom for a bit.
“What did you do last night?” She asked her mom, shifting again slightly as she stuffed some of the eggs and bacon into her mouth.
Deanna was dressed for school and sitting on the edge of her bed in her room, she didn’t want to go to a new school. Be the new girl surrounded by people who would question why she was there, she sighed softly as she grabbed her backpack and slung it over her shoulder. She walked out of her room, looking around the hall before heading towards the kitchen for a cup of coffee and something to munch on.
Riley was headed to school, parking in a spot and getting out before heading inside. She adjusted her purse over her shoulder and made her way to her locker, waving at Nina before opening her locker and grabbing one of the books out of it. It was mainly for show, especially since she wanted to mainly text for a while during the boring classes.
She sent a text to Brooke, Hey Brooke where are you?
Gemma was sitting in her room, everything dark except for the laptop screen where she was watching a slasher flic. Tyler was off at school which meant she could enjoy the quiet around the house, and watch all the slasher flics she wanted. She was wearing a pair of black jeans today, and her black tank top with her boots.

Clark had already poured himself and Kieran two cups of coffee when Deanna walked in. When she did, he walked over to her and said, “Deanna, it’s good to meet you.”
Sheriff Hudson did not consider himself to be an emotional man. He’d never seen the need to show emotions in public often. Kieran knew this, despite having away for 8 years. That’s when it came as a surprise when he wrapped both Kieran and Deanna in a big bear hug. When he finally let them go, he said, “Kieran, Deanna…”
He paused to catch his breath for a moment. He finally continued, “Something bad happened last night.”
Amanda got out of her truck as she pulled into the parking lot. When she saw the cops, she was grateful that she never brought her knife and Taser to school. It had been a late morning, and Richard let her sleep in.
It had been a rush to put her prosthetics on, grab a bite to eat and get out the door.
She happened to see Audrey, who was playing on her phone. She asked, “What’s with all the cops?”

Deanna looked shocked for a moment, but chose to keep her words to herself and merely nodded her head towards him. She walked to the coffee pot and poured herself a cup, before moving to sit next to Kieran while she waited to find out what had happened. She wasn’t used to anyone aside from Kieran or her dead parents showing her affection, so Clark had taken her by surprise a bit. But she supposed he did care, he had filled her room with things her mother had liked.
She pulled out her phone, sending her brother a text to show that she was listening to what Clark was saying. Ask him what happened.

Audrey looked up to see Amanda and took a step forward from leaning off of the vehicle. “Stacy Winters and Brock Carmichael were killed last night….”
Nina gave a very brief wave to Riley as she and Tyler walked inside. “Why the hell are all these cops here?”
“The hell should I know,” Tyler said as they started going through the hall, “probably caught another one of those lame druggies.”

Riley waved back to Nina, before heading towards her first class. She didn’t particulary care if she was late or early, but there was nothing else to do. She had noticed the police around the school, which was interesting enough to say the least. She shifted as she sat down in her chair, pulling out her phone.
Emma looked at her mom, “Oh my god…that’s horrible…do they have any idea who did it?” She asked her mom as she set her fork down, suddenly not hungry anymore. She wiped her mouth as she pulled her phone over to check for any messages.
“Who would kill them?” She asked, still shocked by the news that two of her fellow students were dead right now. And she had been at a party all night, what were the odds of the killer not having shown up there instead?

Emma arrived at school a little while after she had finished talking with her mom, and as she got there she grabbed her purse and headed inside. She made her way to her first class, taking her seat and pulling out her phone. She had seen the police activity, and she knew what it was all about. She sighed softly, running a hand through her hair as she looked around at her classmates, some of her friends that she had just seen the other night.
Deanna looked over at Kieran as they arrived at the school, she didn’t know where she would be headed first after they parted ways. This was always the worst part about starting a new school, meeting new people and other things that took place at a time like this.

Maggie was leaning against the counter doing some thinking. She wondered what she would be finding for the day- something told her it was not going to be good, but maybe it was going to give her some idea to help the police.
She finished drinking her coffee and then went to head out of the house.
Seth stood before his class, watching the students who were all in it. He was kind of surprised at the turnout with the coming event, but that was alright, he supposed. He cleared his throat, waiting to start a minute after eight.
Tyler was already in his chair, thinking about the events of last night- he felt bad to be still thinking about it, but between the fight and the sudden return of his sister, it was hard to say what was what. He tightly gripped his pencil, careful not to break it in his grip as he thought of the possibility of Jake and Nina.
Nina was in the bathroom, still putting the rest of her makeup on. She felt it was necessary- especially on a day like this. At least Tyler wasn’t mad at her about what was said last night and if she could help it, it would remain that way.
Audrey went to the back of class, not saying a word. She wanted to know what the murders were like- how the two looked like. Surely it could help the people solve it. Of course, there was also the wonder of who actually did this. The couple were known to be good people with few enemies. Something told her she was going to be spending the whole class time pondering over who.
Jake closed his walker, going into class. He decided to keep from saying as much as he wanted for the day- maybe things could end on a good note, he figured. If push did come to shove, then to hell with that.
He got to his chair and plopped right down, leaning back and staring around at the other students murmuring.

The Sheriff went quiet and started to think. George Washington High hadn’t had any real problems in over twenty years. And at the moment, it was filled with his loyal Deputies. He smirked and replied, “I couldn’t think of a safer place. You two will be fine.”
With that, they started their way to the Principal’s office.
Amanda walked into her History Class about a minute before the bell rang and quickly took her seat next to Adam Daniels. As she was getting her book out, she asked, “You hear about what happened?”

He stepped away from the door and a few seconds later Edward Teague, Principal of George Washington High School and former US Navy SEAL, stepped out. He was dressed to the nines as always, and feared no man alive.

Both of them were covered with sheets, as if to give them a further moment of closure before we she went to do some hypothetical digging from their bodies. Surely something was going to give but still- the fact they were so young, so innocent; they were just like Emma and a few others from her past.
“This is going to be a long day,” she said to herself just as she went to put her gloves on.
Audrey grabbed her lunch and walked right out of the cafeteria. She had to be ever so thankful everyone did not have to stay crammed inside of the food-and-social epitome of the gym. Plus, all she heard was “Stacy and Brock this” and “Stacy and Brock that”. After a hundred times it was growing old. Sure, it was a sad thing to happen, but there wasn’t much they could do about it now.
She went over towards the tree until seeing other people there. Consequently, she noticed the fountain and decided to take refuge in that so she sat on the edge, placing her bag down.
Jake was in line, getting his food with Adam.
“So….it’s that bad, huh,” Adam said.
“Yeah, something like that,” Jake said scratching the back of his neck.
“Look man, with the talk of the century being what happened to you know who, I don’t think you’ll have anything to worry about.”
Jake shrugged. “I dunno. I guess we’ll just have to see if Nina feels he should worry about it or not.”
“True, she has him by the balls.”
The duo continued to wait in line. A minute later, sure enough, Nina was passing by. She eyed both of them, but mostly Jake in a very odd manner. It was almost as if she felt she had some form of power over him; as if anything he planned on doing against her would make him as a good as dead.
As she walked right on by towards a table Tyler was sitting at with other people, Adam placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Yeah…I’d say Tyler may be in good hands.”
Seth was in his classroom, glancing at the current articles of the murders online. It was working for a decent pass time before his next class started and lunch. He didn’t know why, but something seemed very intriguing yet odd at the same time about this.
He heard a murmur from outside and partially closed his laptop. After seeing it was only a small clutter of students walking by, he hesitantly opened it back up.

Emma was sitting outside beneath a tree, eating her lunch and checking her news feed for more information about what had happened to Brock and Stacy. She sighed some, remembering what her mom said as her gaze wandered to all the deputies watching guard at the school. It was strange, she had noticed two new kids arrive today as well they seemed to keep to themselves though.
Deanna was up on the roof, staying clear of everyone and everything. She was eating her lunch, keeping to herself like she usually liked to do at this time, or just in general lately. She had her phone out on her lap, just in case Kieran worried about her she could tell him where she was. She looked around at the sky, leaning against the building as she sat on the roof.
Riley was styill sitting in a classroom, reading a book instead of outside gossiping about the death of the two students. She nibbled on some of her lunch while she read, she would rather stick to the inside, than listen to all the gossip going on presently.

Granted, she wasn’t supposed to be in the morgue… she had somehow managed to sneak in and allude being caught, but it was all in good fun.

Teague walked down the halls of his school with at a slow and steady pace. Nobody really knew if he had a personal life or not. There were even rumors that he actually lived at the school. “Well then, I will be sure to heed your warning,” Audrey said, then paused. “Question, would you do it The Crazies remake style and lock me in my bedroom and burn it down- because if you did, then I’d just climb out the window.”
Maggie shifted a bit, trying to come up with what would sound like wise responses to the questions. She cleared her throat a bit before glancing back over to Eliza. “The victims were brutally attacked,” she started. “One has injuries equal to someone who might have fallen from a great height- like the second story. Both were stabbed in the stomach- him more than her with a slit throat.”
In that moment, she looked back over the bodies. “We know there were only two because they were the only people out in a house two miles from their closest neighbor. As far is how things played out, we won’t have any further answers until getting police reports.”
Seth was in the midst of closing the door to his room when he saw Brooke. He instantly stop, eventually staring at her a little too long while feeling relieved. “Brooke. I was wondering if I’d get the chance to see you before class or not.” His eyes cut away for a moment and then went back to her. “He was trying to give a warm welcome but kind of left when I mentioned those kids.”

“Why not? Two people I know are in trouble and I just want to be there to help out.”

At the Sheriff’s office, Clark Hudson had just gotten off the phone with the parents of Stacy and Brock. Out of all the things in his job, notifying children’s parents was the hardest.

“Ready as I’ll ever be I guess,” Audrey said as the two started to head to class.
A few minutes later, everyone was seated in class. Seth stared across the room at all of the filled seats, excluding one. He recalled Stacy sitting in this one seat; it was in the second row from the window, leaving an empty small in the mass of students. He anticipated seeing it like that all day, though he only imagined it was worse for all of the other students sitting in the class room.
Near the middle of the class, Jake noticed that Noah had walked in, almost signaling an instant groan from him.
Audrey stared at it maybe ten times before eventually turning her attention to the front where Seth eventually cleared his throat.
“Alright, class, as you all know there was a tragedy last night involving two students,” he began.

“Brandon James who went to this school fell in love with a lady named Daisy and to this day nobody actually knows who this Daisy was. Well to make a long story short Brandon James snapped either because he got tired of being picked on or because he couldn’t be with Daisy. It might have even been a combination of both. He ended up killing many students until Daisy agreed to meet with Brandon on the docks. Once he showed up he was gunned down by police. Daisy was one of the only 2 survivors of the massacre.” Noah explained. (I hope I didnt screw up somewhere in the explanation but I think I got it right.)

“Yea except Romeo and Juliet was more of a roleplay, and you can’t do a roleplay of a slasher flick. Theres just too many elements that couldnt be done. You know you can try to describe how scared your character is while they are getting chased but it doesnt have that same feel. You want to see the fear on the characters face, thats what makes you feel for this character actually want them to live or not. Descriptions just arent enough, most people would say what about Goosebumps? Goosebumps focused on science fiction villians. Plus most people just wanted the killing, they didn’t care about the teenagers they cared about the evil demonic things that were doing the killing.” Noah explained barely stopping to take breaths in between sentences

Soon, class ended and the students were out the class and headed home. Jake was going towards his truck when he saw Tyler and Nina going to their car. Thinking, he decided to approach both of them.
“Hey…you too,” he greeted.
Nina turned and instantly put on a smile. “Jake, surprised you decided to finally talk.”
Tyler cut his eyes at the other guy with a very stern expression.
“So, uh, I was hoping we could talk about last night.” Jake looked at Nina and then back at Tyler. “Alone.”

Emma stood up and headed out of class, heading to her car and opening the door. Gemma was sitting on the couch at home, flipping through the channels on the television while she waited for her stupid little brother to come home. She had heard about the murders, and was actually curious as to who had commited them. Part of her wished it had been her, but nobody really knew about that psychotic side of her that was busy plotting murders while the rest of her house slept.
Not that anything would actually come of her thought process though, she hated the annoying kids and always wished they would die anyways.

After Amanda had gotten back home, she quickly grabbed her Taser and knife from the hidden book in the living room. The knife she hooked to her belt was a Spyderco Street Bowie, and had been hers for 3 years. Between it and the Taser, she was well armed incase the Killer tried to come after her.
With a small smile, she went back outside, got in her truck and drove off to work.
Derek was approaching his usual spot behind the school when he happened to see something going down. It was his Weed Dealer! Dealing to another person! He walked over and said, “Hey Charlie!”
Clark was about to answer when he happened to glance at his watch. A look of panic came to his face and as he got up, he told Eliza, “Eliza, I wish I could answer your questions at the moment, but I have to go pick up my kids from school. Come by tomorrow morning, and we can continue this conversation.”
Before Eliza could say anything, Clark was already out of his office and on his way to pick up Kieran and Deanna.
Kieran had just gotten out of Mr. Branson’s class when he got the text. He smirked a bit and texted back Just got out. I’m on the way.

Branson glanced a round a bit before standing in front of Brooke’s desk. He was rather happy that a good portion of students were already out because it could give him a lot more leeway to say what he wanted to say right then.
“Well, I’ve always been a sucker for forbidden love…I’m sure you’re aware of that,” he said as his eyes, mostly, roamed the fixture on her face.
“State your case,” Tyler said to Jake in a monotone manner with no remorse.
“Look, none of it is true, trust me, I would never do that to you man,” Jake said. “Those little losers probably wanted to get a rile out of you and it worked.”
Tyler glared at him. “You swear nothing happened?”
Jake nodded. “I swear man. I take back what I said about Nina- just wanted to show you that she was not my type.”
“Yeah….sure. I guess I can look at it that way.” Tyler looked down a bit before staring back at the car to see Nina intensely watching. He was not fond of the way she was, but decided not to react to it.
“So are we good or should be scheduling weekly fights like we’re in the WWE?” Jake was now slouching slightly, grabbing Tyler’s attention.
“No, we’re good- but as far as I know, I’ve got a score to settle.”
“You’re not the only one,” Jake said as the two shook on it. “See you around man.”
“Yeah sure,” Tyler said before going into the car.
“That looks like it went well,” Nina said as she watched Jake walk over to his truck.

When he found him in the Smokey office, the manager was smoking a fat cigar while reading the daily paper. He tilted it down and said, “Say hey, Clark. What’s going on?”
“Need to find a vehicle for my two kids. Got any handy?”
The manager put his paper down looked into the garage and smiled, “Yes I do. Go get ’em, and I’ll have someone show you where they’re at.”

As they were walking, Kieran came across a truck he liked and asked, “Amanda, what about this one?”
The girl stopped, took a look at it and said, “2008 Silverado. You like it?”

As Clark was filling out the paperwork, he happened to hear Deanna laughing some. He didn’t turn away from the paperwork, but if Kieran or Deanna could see him, they would see him smiling.
Soon, all the paperwork had been filled out, and the manager handed the keys to Clark and said, “Congrats, Clark. It’s nice doing business with you.”
Clark took them and shook the man’s hand before giving the keys to Kieran and asking, “You know the way back?”
“Yes sir.”
“Then I’ll see you at the house.” with that, Clark walked out the door.
